Spare Parts for the XLE stages

Post by pjeran »

I am nearing completion of a 1200x900 XLE stage build. Marco did a great job putting together a quality package. As I start using the laser I am thinking about if I will use different focal length lenses for different operations. Right now I have a 50mm FL lens, but I could see getting a 100mm just to help with cutting.

Now to my question - are there spare focus lens barrels available? It would be nice to not have to remove the lens from the tube to change the focal length. Buying a second barrel would make things much easier and greatly reduce the risk of damaging the lens as I switch.

Thanks,

Paul

Bumping the topic just in case Marco missed it.

I figure others might want to have a selection of focus optics w/o having to handle them each time.

Sorry I oversight this topics. I'm sure if the manufacturer come up different focus point tip for the laser head. But for sure I can get spare tip replacement. You still can use it for longer focus point but the air pressure from air-assist would be less. Let me ask the manufacturer see if the do have tip for different focus point lens.

Just to be clear - this is the part that I was thinking about.

This would allow you to change focus lenses w/o having to touch the ZnSe.

Thanks!
