We just finished a design of new Pro XY stage. The working area is 500mm x 300mm and the max speed it can reach is about 1100mm/s on the X axis, 400mm/s on the Y axis. It is direct drive (no reduction gear) on the X and while a 2:1 reduction gear is installed on the Y axis. This particular arrangement provides high speed on the X axis because it employs "Y wheel' style guider(less friction) instead of using linear guide (more friction). The stage is sturdy built on the extrusion aluminum frame. It runs smooth and stable. I'll post more picture and a video soon after connection is completed. Possible on next Tuesday.
Price: $550

Update
Ran a few preliminary tests yesterday and found that the Pro530 XY stage could run at 1500mm/s without hesitation or escaped step. Will test more and will post images and video today

Update: Testing engraving at 1500mm/s
It was not engrave very deep because the tube used for testing rate 35W (720mm) and since it was running at very high speed 1500mm/s
It engrave deeper with speed set at 600mm/s
